Finisseur and Burgos BH ride together to conquer Montserrat

They celebrated their first year of collaboration with an exciting bike ride from the brand’s offices in Manresa

Last Friday, September 24th, a group of professionals of the Finisseur brand and the e-commerce of sports equipment Deporvillage organised a road trip with the UCI Pro-Team Burgos BH team to celebrate the anniversary of the sponsorship of the brand, which dresses the professional team from this season.

The team from Burgos was represented by the cyclists Ángel Madrazo, Alex Molenaar, Dani Navarro, Jesús Ezquerra and Óscar Cabedo, with the support of the team car with the technical director David Cantera, the operations manager Asier Gabiña, the official mechanic David Casado and Álvaro García, the group’s photographer. All this made the event even more special.

The day began with a technical talk inside the team bus, in which all the riders of Finisseur and Deporvillage, as well as the members of Burgos BH took part. The technical characteristics of the circuit were explained: the emblematic ascent to the Monastery of Montserrat from Manresa.

The cyclists set off in the direction of Pont de Vilomara towards the town of Monistrol de Monserrat, where they started the mythical climb to the Monastery, with an average gradient of 6.9% during the 8.5km route. In the main square the cyclists had a chance to catch their breaths before setting off again to Coll del Bruc, where they began the descent to Manresa.

The outing was also attended by the founders of Instagram account @tibidabocyclingclub and the youtuber El Sello Ciclista | The Cycling Seal (@elsellociclista on Instagram), who were in charge of sharing the event on their social networks. At the end of the route a lunch was held, where the participants could exchange opinions and experiences about their passion.

Helena Mariño, Marketing & Communication Manager of Deporvillage says “it brings great satisfaction to be able to organise such special events with our team. Creating experiences with professional cyclists is something that allows us to make a difference in attracting and retaining talent and reinforces the brand message within the company. The General Manager of Burgos BH Julio Andrés Izquierdo, for his part, assures that “for our cyclists it has been a great experience to be able to share this route with the members of the Finisseur team”.

The sponsorship from Finisseur to Burgos BH will be maintained during the 2022 season, manufacturing all their clothing for training and competitions.
