Deporvillage takes to the road with the Movistar Team

An activity that reinforces its alliance as the official store of the Spanish UCI WorldTour team

 

Last Friday 12th of November a group of professionals from the sporting goods e-commerce Deporvillage partook in a ride alongside some members of the Movistar Team and other professionals of the sector. The activity is part of the collaboration of Deporvillage as official store of the UCI WorldTour squad for the next three seasons.

 

Although the initial weather forecast was unfavourable, the activity went ahead without incident. The starting point was the headquarters of Deporvillage in the town of Manresa (Barcelona), and the route consisted of just over 60 km through some municipalities in the area, over a period of three hours.

 

On behalf of the Movistar Team, we were joined by Carlos Verona, Iván Garcia Cortina, Antonio Pedrero and Lluís Mas, and other guests from the cycling sector such as Noel Ruiz and Xavi Amat, members of Synapse, and Rapha, from the Tibidabo Cycling Club. The event concluded with a lunch for all the members of the squad, which served to strengthen ties between the members of Deporvillage and Movistar Team.

The agreement between both entities signed this year involves the integration of the official Movistar Team store within the Deporvillage.com domain until December 2023, with a catalogue of more than 100 products of the longest-lived and most successful cycling team in the UCI WorldTour in terms of trajectory. For Deporvillage this is a strategic alliance that reinforces the positioning of the Spanish company as one of the international benchmarking sites in the cycling sector.
