Deporvillage prepares its move to new offices

The sports e-commerce company will move to a 2500m2 space by the end of the year

In response to its more than significant growth in recent years, Spain’s leading sports e-commerce company Deporvillage is planning to move its headquarters to a new office building located in Sant Fruitós de Bages, very close to its current location. With around 2,500 m2, the new facilities offer the company more modern, spacious and welcoming spaces for the more than 100 professionals that make up the office staff.

Until now spread between Manresa and the [email protected] district in Poblenou, Deporvillage was already forced to expand its offices in 2017. Now, the new facilities will be able to accommodate all the necessary jobs given its current magnitude, since this year it has reinforced its team to reach a staff of more than 100people. The move is scheduled for the end of the year, and the new offices also include a large reception area, meeting rooms and several common areas for employees.

As stated by the co-founders of Deporvillage, Xavier Pladellorens, CEO and Angel Corcuera, CPO, “This is a natural step due to the growth we have had in recent months. We’ve seen for a while now that the current offices haven’t allowed us to grow in a comfortable way. The need for more space and the impossibility of finding it in the building where we are now has led us to look for a completely new space that will allow us to grow according to our needs and offer greater comfort to the team“.

Deporvillage closed 2021, its tenth anniversary year, exceeding all expectations, responding effectively to a significant increase in demand during the pandemic that led it to close the year with a turnover of over 120 million euros. This is 60% above the forecast, and a 106% growth compared to last year. For this 2021, it has a sales forecast of 180 million euros.
