Deporvillage designs the official T-shirt of the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2023

A red heart drawn inside the traditional Barcelona panot street tile represents the hearts of the runners beating in the streets of Barcelona

The sports e-commerce, which repeats for the second consecutive year as the official technical partner of the event, has once again been in charge of the design of the T-shirt that all participants in the 33rd edition of the Zurich Marató Barcelona will receive. The race will be held on the 19th of March and will run through some of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona.

The new shirt, which will come in two different patterns for women and men, is dominated by the famous Barcelona panot, a traditional cobblestone containing a four-petalled flower that has become a symbol of the Catalan capital. In the case of the new T-shirt, the panot features a red heart with the slogan “Barcelona beats 2023”, representing the hearts of the runners beating in the city during the race. The same design will be used for the uniforms of the staff members, as well as for the volunteers and the hares.

The 33rd edition of the Zurich Marató Barcelona will start with the mythical start at Avinguda Maria Cristina at 8:30am on Sunday 19th of March, and will take more than 15,000 runners from all over the world on a journey of some of the city’s most famous streets and buildings. The Camp Nou, Casa Batlló, the Sagrada Familia, the seafront promenade, l’Arc del Triomf and the Cathedral will be some of the monuments that athletes will be able to enjoy along the 42 km 195 m of the race.

As in previous editions, participants in the Zurich Marató Barcelona will be able to enjoy the leading sports fair Expo Sports on the 17th and 18th of March at the Fira de Barcelona, where deporvillage will have an important space where it will offer various activities for participants and runners’ companions.

With this collaboration, deporvillage reinforces its commitment to running, one of its key categories and one in which it continues to invest with a wide range of products from the main brands on the market.
