Deporvillage becomes the official Movistar Team store

It will manage the UCI WorldTour squad’s product sales platform for the next three seasons

The leading sports e-commerce in Spain Deporvillage has closed a deal with the professional team Movistar Team to integrate its official store on the platform for the next three seasons. It is a strategic alliance that reinforces the positioning of the Spanish company as one of the international reference portals in the cycling sector.

The official Movistar Team store will be integrated within the domain until December 2023, with a catalogue of more than 100 items of the longest-living and most successful cycling team in the UCI WorldTour in terms of trajectory. With a track record of more than 900 victories as a professional men’s team and twenty as a women’s team, the team has finished first in the world team rankings on six occasions, the last two under the Movistar Team banner. Thus, this commercial alliance is for Deporvillage a big step in its international expansion strategy, as well as an important reinforcement of its position as the leading online store for cycling. “This partnership with one of the top UCI WorldTour teams is an important step for Deporvillage in our goal to consolidate our position in the top of mind of European cycling fans”, explains Xavier Pladellorens, co-founder and CEO of Deporvillage.

Manufactured by leading brands, it will be possible to purchase the men’s and women’s Alé kits; Fizik shoes and saddles; Abus helmets; Le Coq Sportif sportswear clothing; 100% glasses; Elite water bottles and roller trainers, as well as all the products under the Movistar Team license used by the team’s professional riders, from textile garments and accessories such as backpacks, compression products, tech and many other items. The integration also means that all products can be purchased under the advantageous conditions of sale offered by Deporvillage, such as delivery within 24 hours, payment in instalments and a period of one year for returns or exchanges.

The agreement with Movistar Team is also a new step forward for Deporvillage in terms of consolidating a prominent position in the field of professional cycling, a path that began more than three years ago with its sponsorship of some of the most important competitions, such as the Tour de France and La Vuelta a España.

The official store is active from today and, to celebrate it, Deporvillage has launched a 5% discount code* for Movistar Team products purchased today.
